Since 1863, Putnam Family Farm has been producing Vermont Maple Syrup. The hand-hammered taps of yesteryear are now replaced with modern vacuum tubing system for our 3,300 taps.
We invite you to stop in at the Putnam Family Farm and sugarhouse when you are in the area. The farm is located on VT-15, two miles west of Cambridge village. Smugglers Notch Ski Area is about 10 miles from the farm, and other ski areas are also nearby. So, if you are in the area for spring skiing, look for steam from the sugarhouse on your way by!
We also offer our delicious Maple Syrup online for you to purchase. Vermont maple syrup produced on our Putnam Family Farm makes a delicious addition to any meal. Use it on pancakes, French toast, waffles, oatmeal or cereal. Or try it on ice cream for a really delicious treat. One of our favorites is peanut butter maple syrup toast! Maple syrup also enhances any cooked dish - use it anywhere you would use sugar or honey. It is also used as an ingredient in baking, and as a sweetener or flavoring agent.
